SOLAR STATION Live

SOLAR STATION Live is a monitoring station for SOLAX X3-HYBRID G3/G4 and GoodWe ET series inverters - the most used inverters in the country.

It displays live data from the inverter:

• power flow - clearly shows panel outputs, household consumption, battery status and even inverter temperatures
• statistics - how much energy was produced, consumed, bought and sold today
• graph - production, consumption and battery status for the last 24 hours

That's why SOLAR STATION Live is designed so the user doesn't have to set anything up. The station automatically connects to your inverter's WiFi and starts displaying data.

Before purchasing

Verify that the inverter's WiFi network is available where you want to use the station:

• SOLAX - Only installations with a WiFi Dongle are supported. The dongle transmits wifi WiFi with the name WiFi_XXXX, where XXXXXX is the serial number of the dongle. This network must be non-password secured - the default state. If such a network is not available, it can still be hidden - can be verified and set in the SolaxCloud mobile app.
• GoodWe - The GoodWe inverter broadcasts a WiFi network called Solar-WifiXXXX, where XXXXXX is the dongle serial number. This WiFi is secured by default with the password 12345678. Please test that you can connect to this network with that password.

In the first release, only typical home PV installations with the listed battery inverters will be supported. I.e. multi-inverter installations will not be supported (for now).

Installation

Installation is very simple. Just plug the station into a wall socket using the supplied cable. The station will connect itself to the inverter and start displaying data straight away. That's it!

Firmware update

SOLAR STATION Live does NOT feature automatic firmware updates like other projects. The device is designed so that if it works now, it will work in 5 years. But you can still update the device firmware using a USB-C cable and a browser.

SOLAR PLUG

All SOLAR PLUG sockets sold are supported. When the SOLAR PLUG is plugged in, SOLAR STATION Live will automatically pair them and display the new tile. The sockets are automatically switched according to internal rules, so that maximum use is made of the solar energy.
